Sealed proposals for Operation and Management of the Homer Animal Shelter will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Homer, 491 E. Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska 99603, until 5:00 p.m., August 22, 2013. The time of receipt will be determined by the City Clerk’s time stamp.  Proposals received after the time fixed for the receipt shall not be considered.

The proposal consists of providing operation and management services for the Homer Animal Shelter. 

All Proposers must have their name on the Official Plan Holders List at the City Clerk’s Office and are required to attend one mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference and Tour either:
Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. or Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 2:00 p.m., at the Homer Animal Shelter, 3575 Heath Street, Homer, Alaska.

The City of Homer reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities or informalities in the proposals, and to award the contract to the respondent that best meets the City’s needs.
