Summer@HPL is a FREE eight-week summer program for all ages sponsored by the library and Friends of the Homer Public Library. We offer opportunities for kids, teens, and adults to READ, PLAY, DO, and DISCOVER at the library and beyond! Learn the details HERE.

Wizard of Oz puppet show all ages Lions and tigers and puppets, oh my! In this classic heart-warming tale, adapted for marionettes by Martin Stevens and Dan Raynor, children will watch with bated breath as a Kansas cyclone whisks Dorothy off to Oz. What will happen to Dorothy and her friends the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion?

Family Scavenger Hunt & Stuffed Animal Sleepover all ages

Discover the hidden secrets of the library, enjoy refreshments, and bring your stuffed animal for the sleepover!

What happens late at night at the library? Let your stuffed animal find out! Bring your stuffed animal to the scavenger hunt and pick them up on Wednesday morning. Each animal will receive their very own library card and a photo of their nighttime activities!

Entries are due Monday, July 9th, by 5pm. They will be on display at the library all week! Find out if you created the winning masterpiece at the award ceremony on Saturday, July 14, at 5pm.
