RE: 2013 BUDGET REQUESTS AND NARRATIVE

At the August 9, 2012 Regular Meeting and a Special Meeting on September 25, 2012 the Public Arts Committee members spent considerable time discussing the 2013 budgetary needs.
A cumulative request and narrative has been included on the required Budget Request Form issued by the finance department.
It was determined that due to many fiscal responsibilities before the city the Committee did not want to add additional conflict or burdens for Council to consider and have decided to “partner” their efforts jointly with the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission, Parks Maintenance and Public Works on Uniform Signage for Parks, Trails, Beaches and Recreational Areas.
This has been a long standing item on the Public Arts Committee Strategic Plan.
