Discussion

The 2014 Public Works Operating Budget contains $54,000 for the purchase of two new 2014 Ford F-150 work trucks.

On February 5, 2014 three bids were reviewed on the State of Alaska Vehicle Requisition website for two Ford F-150 4x4 pickup trucks.

Recommendation

Award the purchase of these work trucks from Kendall Ford, 2701 E. Mt. Village Dr., Wasilla, AK 99654 in the total amount of $ 51,466.00.

Fiscal Note

This purchase is budgeted in the 2014 Operating Budget Public Works Fleet Fund Account 152-0383 and the Water & Sewer Fund Account 256-0378 & 0379.

The remaining balance shall be used for vehicle equipment including snow tires, mobile radios, fire extinguishers, etc.
