AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING A STATE OF ALASKA LEGISLATIVE GRANT FOR USE TOWARDS CONSTRUCTION OF PHASE I OF THE ANCHOR POINT TO HOMER NATURAL GAS PIPELINE IN THE AMOUNT OF $525,000 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.

WHEREAS, The State of Alaska Legislative Grant is to provide funding to the City of Homer for use towards construction of Phase I of the Anchor Point to Homer Natural Gas Pipeline; and

WHEREAS, Phase I of the project will construct a pressure reducing station and 3,260 linear feet of 8-inch gas line terminating at Chapman Elementary School in Anchor Point.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1. The Homer City Council hereby accepts and appropriates a State of Alaska Legislative Grant for use towards construction of Phase I of the Anchor Point to Homer Natural Gas Pipeline in the amount of $525,000 as follows:
