ORDINANCE 10-50
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, ADOPTING HOMER CITY CODE 4.04.015, SEWER UTILITY SERVICE AREA; AND HOMER CITY CODE 4.08.025, WATER UTILITY SERVICE AREA; AUTHORIZING THE COUNCIL BY RESOLUTION TO DETERMINE THE AREAS WITHIN WHICH THE CITY MAY PROVIDE SEWER AND WATER UTILITY SERVICE.
THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:
Section 1. Homer City Code 14.04.015, Sewer utility service area, is adopted to read as follows:
14.04.015. Sewer utility service area. The area within which the city may provide sewer utility service shall be determined by the council by resolution from time to time, subject to approval by the Regulatory Commission of Alaska. All regulations of the use and operation of the city sewer utility shall apply throughout the approved sewer utility service area, including any part of the service area that is located outside the city.
Section 2. Homer City Code 14.08.025, Water utility service area, is adopted to read as follows:
14.08.025. Water utility service area. The area within which the city may provide water utility service shall be determined by the council by resolution from time to time, subject to approval by the Regulatory Commission of Alaska. All regulations of the use and operation of the city water utility shall apply throughout the approved water utility service area, including any part of the service area that is located outside the city.
Section 3. This Ordinance is of a permanent and general character and shall be included in the City Code.
