ORDINANCE 11-33
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING HOMER CITY CODE 8.12.300, STATE SCHOOL BUS OPERATIONS—EXEMPTIONS, TO EXEMPT VEHICLES DESIGNED TO TRANSPORT 16 OR MORE PERSONS AND THEIR OPERATORS FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF HOMER CITY CODE CHAPTER 8.12.
THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:
Section 1. HCC 8.12.300, State school bus operations--exemptions, is amended to read as follows:
8.12.300 Exemptions. A vehicle that is designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver, is exempt from the requirements of this chapter. A chauffeur’s license is not required to operate a vehicle that is designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
Section 2. This Ordinance is of a permanent and general character and shall be included in the City Code.
ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, this 22nd day of August, 2011.
