Ordinance 12-07 Budget Amendment of $81,000 to Acquire New Furniture at City Hall

ORDINANCE 12-07

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AMENDING THE FY 2012 OPERATING BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING AND TRANSFERRING $81,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND RESERVE (FUND BALANCE) TO THE CITY HALL COMPLEX BUDGET FOR THE PURPOSE OF ACQUIRING NEW FURNITURE AT CITY HALL.

WHEREAS, The City Hall expansion and renovation project is essentially complete and the project budget contained funds for furniture in the Council Chambers and other public areas; and
WHEREAS, There are two public areas which still need to be furnished and several office spaces where the old furniture should be replaced.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF HOMER ORDAINS:

Section 1. The Homer City Council hereby amends the FY 2012 Operating Budget by appropriating and transferring $81,000 from the General Fund Reserve (Fund Balance) to the City Hall Complex operating budget as follows:

Section 2. This ordinance is a budget amendment ordinance only, is not permanent in nature, and shall not be codified.
