Mayor Wythe presented Sue Alexander, President of Leadership Council, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska, with a Mayor's Proclamation at the January 14th City Council meeting recognizing January 2013 as National Mentoring Month.
A group of Big Brother Big Sister volunteers shared touching stories with the Council and the public about how the Littles they are paired with have positively affected their lives and the fun they have together.
