
Kenai Peninsula Economic Development District and the City of Homer are proud to be co-hosting the 2013 Industry Outlook Forum Thursday, January 31st and Friday, February 1st. The theme of this year’s forum is “Cook Inlet, Energy for All Alaska. ”
The forum offers a variety of topics and speakers discussing the economic outlook for the Kenai Peninsula and the State of Alaska. The agenda is filled with speakers that will discuss workforce trends, tourism, resource development, and upcoming utility projects. Participants will hear from local government officials, Alaska State Commissioners and the Lt. Governor as well as Alaska’s Washington, D.C. delegation via DVD message. This two-day event will be held at the Land’s End Resort in Homer.
Local business, many of whom employ Kenai Peninsula residents and purchase services and products fueling our local economy have generously provided sponsorships for the Forum. This allows us to offer the Forum at no cost to the public. However, you must pre-register in advance to attend.
