5.32.010 Purpose.
This chapter shall create Civil Defense as an agency of government for the City and provide for a Civil Defense Organization with a Director and staff. (Prior code 17-100.1).
5.32.020 Civil Defense Organization--Created.
There is created the Civil Defense Organization for the City as an agency of the government. (Prior code 17-100.2).
5.32.030 Civil Defense Organization--Membership.
All City officers and ;employees of this City, together with those volunteer forces enrolled to aid them prior to or during a disaster, shall constitute the Civil Defense Organization, as provided by law. (Prior code 17-100.4)
5.32.040 Appointment of Director and staff.
The City Council shall appoint a Civil defense Director and a staff to serve at the pleasure of the Mayor. (Prior code 17-100.3).
