The flowers are growing and on the way to being ready for the gardens around town again. Special thanks to the HHS Natural Resources class for helping transplant this spring. If your business would like to participate call Angie at 435-3139 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Plant lists will be available on May 15.
The Homer Beautification Program began as a Homer High School senior project proposal in 1992 and has grown over the last 20 years with the help of dozens of individuals and businesses in Homer to bring color to our town for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike during our short summer season. Each year thousands of flowers are grown and distributed to local businesses and planted in the many city gardens around town.
