In 2012, FEMA released the DRAFT flood maps of the Homer Spit. The flood maps modify the areas that would be inundated by the base (1% annual chance) flood elevations; and flood zone designation. The DRAFT flood maps are on display at City Hall or by using the links below.
FEMA has postponed the adoption of the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) until later in 2013. Once FEMA has adopted the FIRM, they must be adopted by the City Council.
