Meetings of the Parks and Recreation Commission are held on the third Thursday of January - November at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall. There is no meeting in December unless requested by the commission.

Terms are for 3 years and expire on October 31 of designated year. Up to 3 members may be non-residents from outside the City limits, but preference given to City resident applicants.

HCC1.74.010 (c.) The Mayor, the City Manager and one Homer High School student selected by his or her government class, shall serve as consulting members of the Commission in addition to the seven appointive members, and may attend and participate in all meetings as consultants, but shall have no vote.
