RESOLUTION 10-18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR A NEW 4X4 TRUCK FOR THE PORT MAINTENANCE DIVISION TO CAL WORTHINGTON FORD OF ANCHORAGE, ALASKA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $27,374.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS.
WHEREAS, Solicitation for competitive bids for a new 4x4 truck for the Port Maintenance Division was made in accordance with procurement policies and procedures; and
WHEREAS, Proposals were received from two Alaska firms specializing in truck sales; and
WHEREAS, Cal Worthington Ford of Anchorage, Alaska, submitted a proposal in the amount of $27,374.00 that is deemed to be responsive and responsible; and
WHEREAS, This award is not final until notice is received by Cal Worthington Ford of Anchorage, Alaska, from the City of Homer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Homer, Alaska, hereby awards the Contract for a New 4x4 Truck for the Port Maintenance Division to the firm of Cal Worthington Ford of Anchorage, Alaska, in the amount of $27,374.00 and that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the appropriate documents.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 8th day of February, 2010.
