RESOLUTION 12-100(A)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF HOMER, ALASKA, AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, The Council of the City of Homer wishes to Provide Renovations to the Boys and Girls Club; and
WHEREAS, The City of Homer is an applicant for a grant in the amount of $150,000 from the Alaska Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG Program).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of Homer is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute any and all documents required for granting and managing funds on behalf of the City of Homer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the City Manager is also authorized to execute subsequent amendments to said grant agreement to provide for adjustments to the project within the scope of services or tasks, based upon the needs of the project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED there are no alternative proposals for the Community Development Block Grant.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council this 26th day of November, 2012.
