RESOLUTION 14-062
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL OPENING THE REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS WITH PRAYER.
WHEREAS, The practice of opening public meetings is “part of the fabric of our society”; and
WHEREAS, This practice “evokes universal themes” such as “calling for a spirit of cooperation.”
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council will begin the practice of opening their regular city council meetings with a prayer.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL this 9th day of June, 2014.
