RESOLUTION 14-086
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOMER CITY COUNCIL SCHEDULING A JOINT WORKSESSION WITH THE ADVISORY PLANNING COMMISSION TO DISCUSS TOWER REGULATION AND PERMIT REQUIREMENTS, AND OTHER PLANNING MATTERS.
WHEREAS, In recent months there have been a number of complex issues presented to the Planning Department; and
WHEREAS, It would be wise for the City Council and the Advisory Planning Commission to meet to discuss the proposed issues and possible solutions; and
WHEREAS, The main focus of a joint Worksession will be tower regulation and permit requirements, along with other planning matters; and
WHEREAS, The City Clerk conducted a Doodle poll to find the best date for a Worksession with staff, the City Council, and the Advisory Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, The best date to schedule the Worksession is Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. for both the City Council and Advisory Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Homer City Council hereby schedules a joint Worksession with the Advisory Planning Commission on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss tower regulation and permit requirements, and other planning matters.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Homer City Council on this 11th day of August, 2014.
