SUBJ: APPOINTMENT OF ANDREA MACAULY TO THE ADVISORY PLANNING COMMISSION AND REAPPOINTMENT OF JIM HORNADAY TO THE COOK INLET REGIONAL CITIZEN’S ADVISORY COUNCIL.

Andrea Macauly is a City Resident. I am appointing her to fill the Beck vacancy on the Homer Advisory Planning Commission. Her term will expire July 1, 2003, at which time she seek reappointment for the remainder of that term to July 1, 2004. Her Commissioner Data sheet is attached.

Jim Hornaday’s term on the Cook Inlet Regional Citizen’s Advisory Council (CIRCAC) Board of Directors expires February 2003. The appointment deadline is December 20, 2002. Mr. Hornaday has done an outstanding job representing the City of Homer on CIRCAC, therefore, I am reappointing him for another three year term.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the appointment of Andrea Macauly to the Advisory Planning Commission and the reappointment of Jim Hornaday to the CIRCAC Board of Directors.
