SUBJ: LEASE APPROVAL - VARIOUS TENANTS OF LOTS 9, 10, 11, CITY OF HOMER INDUSTRIAL NO. 3
The City Council will most likely authorize putting these properties out for RFP’s this summer, in some form or another. It is also anticipated that the Council will adopt a new Lease Policy prior to RFP. In the meantime, it is recommended that current tenants of these properties be permitted to continue to occupying their present places of business through November, 2003. An as-built of the properties is attached as are the individual leases/license.
Lease to Deep Creek Packing Inc. for premises indicated in the lease from December 1, 2002 through November 30, 2003 for the rent of $1,000.00 per month, plus tax. Lease attached.
Lease to Steve Zimmerman dba Desperate Marine for premises indicated in the lease from December 1, 2002 to November 30, 2003 for the rent of $375.00 perm month, plus tax. Lease attached.
Lease to Dana F. Besecker, Inc. for premises indicated in the lease from December 1, 2002 through November 30, 2003 for the rent of $550.00 per month, plus tax. Lease attached.
Lease to William Tener dba South Central Radar and Communication for premises indicated in the lease from December 1, 2002 to November 30, 2003 for the rent of $1,158.00 per month, plus tax. Lease attached.
Lease to The Auction Block, for premises indicated in the
lease from December 1, 2002 to November 30, 2003 for the rent of $150.00 per
month, plus tax. Lease attached.
RECOMMENDATION:
The City Manager be authorized to execute the appropriate leases and license referred to in this Memorandum.
