SUBJ: APPOINTMENT OF BETTE (ELIZABETH) SEAMAN AND JANELLE L. SIEKANIEC TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD AND BRUCE HESS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION.

Bette (Elizabeth) Seaman is a City Resident. I am appointing her to fill the Ladd vacancy on the Library Advisory Board. Her term will expire April 1, 2003, at which time she may request reappointment for a full three year term to April 1, 2006. Her Commissioner Data sheet is attached.

Janelle L. Siekaniec is a City Resident. I am appointing her to fill a potential vacancy on the Library Advisory Board. Her term, should the vacancy occur, will expire April 1, 2003, at which time she may request reappointment for the remainder of that term to April 1, 2005. Her Commissioner Data sheet is attached.

Bruce Hess is a City Resident. I am appointing him to fill a potential vacancy on the Planning Commission. His term, should a vacancy occur, will expire July 1, 2003, at which time he may request reappointment for a full three year term to expire July 1, 2006.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the appointments of Bette (Elizabeth) Seaman, Janelle L. Siekaniec to the Library Advisory Board and Bruce Hess to the Advisory Planning Commission.
