Subject: Resolution 03-65 Contract Award

In January 2003, the City of Homer was awarded a grant from the EPA to study the wetlands within the City of Homer and the Bridge Creek Watershed Protection District. (The grant agreement is another agenda item). Part of the scope of work in the grant included the acquisition of aerial photos for the City of Homer and the Bridge Creek Watershed Protection District. The City has previously issued an RFP for aerial imagery, and AeroMap was the least expensive bid at that time. AeroMap has given the City and estimate of $29,000 to acquire new aerial imagery this summer, which will be used in the wetlands study. The new imagery will also be used to create the new Water and Sewer Master Plan.

RECOMMENDATION: Approve Resolution 03- 65
