SUBJ: CITY MANAGER EVALUATION

The City Council approved the Recommendation of Memorandum 03-90(A) during the May 27th Regular Council Meeting, that recommendation was to Conduct the City Manager's evaluation on July 28, 2003 via Executive Session.

If Memorandum 03-113 was approved, as listed under the Consent Agenda: Request for Executive Session pursuant to AS §44.62.310(c)(2), Subjects that Tend to Prejudice the Reputation and Character of any Person, Provided the Person May Request a Public Discussion. (City Manager Evaluation.) Recommend approval and conduct under New Business Item A. Then the Council may go directly into Executive Session on this matter.

City Manager Wrede did not object to the evaluation being conducted via Executive Session at the time the Memorandum was adopted.

RECOMMENDATION:

Conduct the evaluation in Executive Session and make a statement or take action thereafter.
