SUBJ: REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO AS §44.62.310(C)(1), MATTERS, THE IMMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE OF WHICH WOULD CLEARLY HAVE AN ADVERSE EFFECT UPON THE FINANCES OF THE GOVERNMENT UNIT. (OCEAN DRIVE LOOP BLUFF EROSION CONTROL PROJECT AND UA NEGOTIATIONS.).

The City Council during the July 28th Regular meeting, under Resolutions and action on Resolution 03-67, indicated their desire to meet in Executive Session regarding the Ocean Drive Loop Bluff Erosion Control Project.

City Manager Wrede has recently been apprized of some confidential information from the University and requests that this be included in the Executive Session to inform the Council of the information and to ascertain Council's opinion(s).

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the request for Executive Session and conduct under New Business as Item A.
