Kachemak Bay Campus Lease
Attached
is a lease agreement with University of Alaska and the City of Homer to lease
the top floor of the main building of the former Homer Intermediate School
facility located on a portion of the E 1/2 Section 19, T6S, R12W, S.M., Alaska,
containing approximately 8,433 square feet of net usable area, to operate
a Branch of the Kenai Peninsula
College.
The lease term is from
October 1, 2003 through September 30, 2006, three additional one-year renewal
periods. The lease rate is $52,800.00
per year, plus tax.
RECOMMENDATION:
Homer City Council approval
of the attached lease agreement between the City of Homer and University of Alaska.
