SUBJ: APPOINTMENT OF BRUCE HESS TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND SEAN MARTIN TO THE PORT/HARBOR COMMISSION

Bruce Hess is a City Resident. I am appointing him to fill a vacancy on the Advisory Planning Commission created by the resignation of Andrea Macauly. This remainder of this term will expire July 1, 2003, at which time he may request reappointment for a full term to expire July 1, 2006.

Sean Martin is not a City Resident. I am appointing him to fill a vacancy on the Port/Harbor Commission created by the resignation of Gary Ault. His term will expire February 1, 2006.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the appointments of Bruce Hess to the Advisory Planning Commission and the appointment of Sean Martin to the Advisory Port/Harbor Commission.
