Subject: Harrington Heights Water/Sewer Improvements – Project No. 215817

Acceptance For Maintenance & Assessment

The above referenced water & sewer local improvement district project have been substantially completed, inspected by the Public Works Department and can be accepted for maintenance.

This project consists of the installation of the following.

Water Main Line Sewer Main line

· Harrington Heights LID 3,627 LF 3,295 LF

In addition to the mainline extensions, this project also included the installation of 11sanitary sewer manholes, 46 sewer service connections, 4 fire hydrant assemblies and 47 new water services. The completion of these projects provides water and sewer service connections for an additional 47 parcels.

These utilities extension are completed, accepted and ready for use by the LID property owners. Therefore, property owner assessments for these projects, as agreed by the LID petitioners, can be levied. The assessment costs are computed as follows.

Original Approved LID Petition Estimated Cost $1,159,646

Actual Costs Breakdown

· Construction Costs Paid to Contractor $665,960.45

· Design & Professional Services $ 48,566.25

· Construction Inspection Costs $ 7,128.81

Total Design & Construct $721,655.51
