SUBJ: REAPPOINTMENT OF THOMAS BARTLETT, LANE CHESLEY AND FRED PFEIL TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION.

Thomas Bartlett's term expired on July 1, 2004. When I was advised of his term expiration I instructed the City Clerk to place the reappointment before you for the July 26th meeting. Mr. Bartlett has expressed his desire to continue to serve on the Planning Commission. He was originally appointed to fill a vacancy. This reappointment is for a full three year term and will expire July 1, 2007.

Lane Chesley's term expired on July 1, 2004. When I was advised of his term expiration I instructed the City Clerk to place the reappointment before you for the July 26th meeting. Mr. Chesley and I have discussed his reappointment and he has expressed his desire to continue to serve on the Planning Commission. He was originally appointed to fill a vacancy. This reappointment is for a full three year term and will expire July 1, 2007.

Fred Pfeil's term expired on July 1, 2004. When I was advised of his term expiration I instructed the City Clerk to place the reappointment before you for the July 26th meeting. Mr. Pfeil has expressed his desire to continue to serve on the Planning Commission. He was originally appointed to fill a vacancy. This is Mr. Pfeil's second reappointment and is for a full three year term and will expire July 1, 2007.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the reappointment of Thomas Bartlett, Lane Chesley and Fred Pfeil to the Planning Commission for a three year term, each, to expire July 1, 2007.
