SUBJ: NEW LIQUOR LICENSE FOR THE FROSTY BEAR ICE CREAM PARLOR AND THE DEN
RESTAURANT - RESTAURANT/EATING PLACE PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND RESTAURANT
DESIGNATION PERMIT.
Notice was received from the ABC Board, on July 12, 2004 regarding a new Liquor License for the Frosty Bear Ice
Cream Parlor and the Den Restaurant for a Restaurant/Eating Place Public Convenience and Restaurant Designation
Permit.
Willie "D" and Me Inc. (Wilfred V. and Jacqueline Dentz) applied for a Restaurant/Eating Place Public Convenience
Liquor License for the Frosty Bear Ice Cream Parlor and The Den Restaurant located at 639 E. Pioneer Avenue.
The Restaurant Designation Permit provides for:
1. Persons between the ages of 16 and 21 to dine unaccompanied
2. Persons under the age of 16 to dine accompanied by a person 21 years or older.
3. Persons between the ages of 16 and 19 to be employed.
The Chief of Police and Kenai Peninsula Borough have issued no objections to this new Liquor License and no
objections to the Restaurant Designation Permit.
RECOMMENDATION:
Voice non objection and approval to the new Liquor License for the Frosty Bear Ice Cream Parlor and the Den
Restaurant for a Restaurant/Eating Place Public Convenience and Restaurant Designation Permit.
