SUBJECT: APPOINTMENT OF KURT WEICHHAND TO THE PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION

I am appointing Kurt Weichhand to the Homer Port and Harbor Advisory Commission. He will fill Bill Choate=s vacancy which expires February 1, 2005, at which time he may request reappointment for a full three-year term. Mr. Weichhand is a city resident in the newly annexed area. Commissioner Data Sheet attached.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the appointment of Kurt Weichhand to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission for a term to expire February 1, 2005.
