SUBJ: Councilmember Ladd's Notice of Reconsideration Regarding the vote on the main motion for Resolution 03-137(S).
Councilmember Ladd issued notice of reconsideration on Tuesday, January 13, 2004 at 11:25 a.m. This reconsideration notice complies with Council's
Bylaws wherein notice of reconsideration must occur within forty eight hours of Council's action by a Councilmember voting on the prevailing side.
Councilmember Ladd did vote on the prevailing side. The vote was three yes and two no, since four affirmative votes are required for passage the main
amended motion on Resolution 03-137(S) failed. Councilmember Ladd voted no.
Amendment: LADD/BECK - MOVED TO AMEND RESOLUTION 03-137(S) TO AMEND THE BOUNDARIES AS STATED ON PAGE 345, MAP. (Map attached to Memorandum 04-10) (The cost assessment will increase from $9,796.27 to $11,126.23 if this boundary change is approved.)
The vote on the amendment was four yes and one no, with Councilmember Ladd casting the"no" vote.
If reconsideration passes, Resolution 03-137(S), main motion as amended will be back on the floor under Resolutions.
The motion to reconsider must be made by one who voted on the prevailing side: Councilmember Ladd or Councilmember Beck. This motion may be
seconded by any Councilmember.
RECOMMENDATION:
Move for reconsideration of the vote on Resolution 03-137(S) having voted against the Resolution.
