SUBJ: LIQUOR LICENSE RENEWAL OF BEVERAGE DISPENSARY TOURISM LICENSE BEST WESTERN BIDARKA INN, RENEWAL AND TRANSFER OF PACKAGE STORE LICENSES FOR THE GROG SHOP AND THE RUM LOCKER AND RENEWAL AND TRANSFER OF PACKAGE STORE - SEASONAL LICENSES FOR HOMER LIQUOR AND WINE COMPANY, PATEL'S AND PATEL'S #2.

Notice was received on October 26, 2004, from the ABC Board, of the pending Liquor License Transfer of Package Store License for Patel's from Patel Enterprises Inc. to MSA, Inc.

Notice was received on October 28, 2004, from the ABC Board, of the pending Liquor License Renewal of Beverage Dispensary Tourism License Best Western Bidarka Inn, Renewal of Package Store Licenses for the Grog Shop and the Rum Locker and Renewal of Package Store - Seasonal Licenses for Homer Liquor and Wine Company, Patel's and Patel's #2.

Notice was received on October 28, 2004, from the ABC Board, of the pending Liquor License Transfer of Package Store Licenses for the Grog Shop and the Rum Locker and Package Store - Seasonal License for Homer Liquor and Wine Company from Patel Enterprises Inc. to MSA, Inc.

Notice was received on November 4, 2004, from the ABC Board, of the pending Liquor License Transfer for Patel's #2 from Patel Enterprises Inc. to MSA, Inc.

Kodiak Inn, Inc - Agent Bill Artus (Best Western Bidarka Inn located at 575 Sterling Highway. )

Patel Enterprises Inc. - Agent Elizabeth Parmley (The Grog Shop located at 369 E. Pioneer Avenue, Homer Liquor and Wine Company located at 4241 Homer Spit Road, Patel's located at 4470 Homer Spit Road, Patel's #2 located at 3789 Homer Spit Road and The Rum Locker located at 436 Sterling Highway #2.

MSA, Inc. - Agent Melvin Strydom (same as listed under Patel Enterprises Inc.)

We have received no objections from Chief of Police or the Kenai Peninsula Borough.

RECOMMENDATION:

Voice non objection and approval for the Liquor License Renewal of Beverage Dispensary Tourism License Best Western Bidarka Inn, and Transfer of Package Store - Seasonal Licenses for Patel's and Patel's #2.

Contingent upon confirmation of property tax payment from Borough, Voice non objection and approval for the Liquor License Renewal and Transfer of Package Store Licenses for the Grog Shop and the Rum Locker and Renewal and Transfer of Package Store - Seasonal License for Homer Liquor and Wine Company.
