APPOINTMENT OF THOMAS BURSCH TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD AND REAPPOINTMENT OF TIM DAUGHARTY TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION.

Thomas Bursch has filed a Commissioner Data Sheet for the Library Advisory Board. He is a City resident and has been for ten years. Mr. Bursch would be filling the vacancy created by Dan Coyle's resignation. Mr. Coyle's term was due to expire April 1, 2004. I would like to appoint Mr. Bursch to fill the vacancy and since it is so close to the April 1, 2004 date that he be appointed for the additional three year term, so that his term would expire April 1, 2007.

Tim Daugharty's term expired October 31, 2002. He continued to serve and just recently submitted a request to be reappointed. His new term will expire October 31, 2005.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the appointment of Thomas Bursch to the Library Advisory Board for a term to expire April 2, 2007 and the reappointment of Tim Daugharty to the Parks and Recreation Commission for a term to expire October, 31, 2005.
