SUBJ: LIQUOR LICENSE NEW/CHANGE FOR YOUNG'S DOWNTOWN INN AND ORIENTAL RESTAURANT - RESTAURANT/EATING PLACE.

Notice was received on January 30, 2004, from the ABC Board, for the New/Changed Liquor License for Young's Downtown Inn and Oriental Restaurant, located at 565 E. Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska. License type is a Restaurant/Eating Place with a Restaurant Designation Permit: This Restaurant Designation Permit provides for those between the ages of 16 and 21 to dine unaccompanied, and for those under the age of 16 to dine accompanied by a person 21 years or older. Young's previously held a Restaurant/ Eating Place/Public Convenience License.

Public Hearing scheduled during the same meeting as action is scheduled.

The Chief of Police and Kenai Peninsula Borough have issued no objections to this license.

RECOMMENDATION:

Voice non objection and approval to the new/change Liquor License as noted in the subject line of this Memorandum.
