SUBJ: APPOINTMENT OF DENNIS NOVAK TO THE TOWN CENTER DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE, KENNETH WEAVER TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION AND LEE KRUMM TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMITTEE.

It has been brought to my attention that Councilmember Dennis Novak has expressed an interest in becoming a member of the Town Center Development Committee, therefore I am appointing him as a member.

Kenneth Weaver is a city resident and has requested to be appointed to fill the vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission. His term will expire October 31, 2007.

Lee Krumm will be the Kachemak Emergency Services Area Board Representative on the Fire Department Strategic Planning Committee.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the appointments of Dennis Novak to the Town Center Development Committee, the Kenneth Weaver to the Parks and Recreation Commission and Lee Krumm to the Fire Department Strategic Planning Committee.
