SUBJ: CONFIRMATION OF ELECTION WORKERS FOR THE SPECIAL CITY OF HOMER ELECTION - JUNE 15, 2004 AND ALL PROCESSES THEREOF PURSUANT TO HOMER CITY CODE AND AS DEEMED NECESSARY BY THE CITY CLERK,

Pursuant to Homer City Code Sections 4.20.010 & 4.35.010 the Polling Place Judges are approved by City Council and the Canvass Board is confirmed by the City Council. Election Central Judges and Absentee Voting Officials are appointed by the City Clerk and require no approval or confirmation of the City Council.

FISCAL INFORMATION:

Polling Place - $10.00/hr chairs, $9.50/hr judges; 12-18 hours. $12.00 Canvass Board; 2 to 4 hours or until done. Acct: 100.5101--5107.102.
