SUBJ: REAPPOINTMENT OF CATHY ULMER AND KURT WEICHHAND TO THE HOMER PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION, THE APPOINTMENT OF CATHY ULMER TO THE HOMER CONFERENCE CENTER FEASIBILITY STUDY STEERING COMMITTEE AND THE APPOINTMENT OF DON EMMAL TO THE TOWN CENTER DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE WITH JACK CUSHING AS HIS ALTERNATE.

Cathy Ulmer's new term will expire February 1, 2008.

Kurt Weichand's new term will expire February 1, 2008.

In concurrence with the Council's discussion regarding the appointments to the Homer Conference Center Feasibility Study Steering Committee, I am hereby appointing Cathy Ulmer as an additional Committee Member.

Town Center Development Committee Chair Bill Smith requested appointment of Do.n Emmal to the Committee with Jack Cushing as his alternate. The Chair was requested to obtain Commissioner Data sheet information from Mr. Emmal.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the Reappointment of Cathy Ulmer and Kurt Weichand to the Homer Port and Harbor Advisory Commission, the appointment of Cathy Ulmer to the Homer Conference Center Feasibility Study Steering Committee and the appointment of Don Emmal to the Town Center Development Committee and Jack Cushing as his alternate.
