SUBJECT: NEW COUNCIL MEMBER STARTING DATE

When we discussed the replacement process for Rose, we didn't set a starting date for the lucky person. Without dwelling on the symbolism, April 1st would appear to be a good day. Rose will be in action on the 29th (the 30th if the meeting runs over), and there is no need to have someone in place for a day or two when nothing is happening. Besides, the $50 for those two days is not budgeted.

RECOMMENDATION: Set 1 April as the starting date.
