SUBJ: REAPPOINTMENT OF PAUL MACKIE TO THE HOMER PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION AND THE APPOINTMENT OF LOU STEWART TO THE HOMER PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMISSION.

Paul Mackie 's new term will expire February 1, 2008.

I am appointing Lou Stewart to fill the vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission. Commissioner Weaver moved to Anchorage and, therefore, resigned his Commission seat. Mr. Stewart has been purchasing the Parks and Recreation Commission Packets for several months and attending Commission meetings. His term will expire October 31, 2007.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the Reappointment of Paul Mackie to the Homer Port and Harbor Advisory Commission, the Appointment of Lou Stewart to the Homer Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission.
