SUBJ: REAPPOINTMENT OF ANN KEFFER TO THE LIBRARY ADVISORY BOARD, CONSTANCE J. ALDERFER AND DAVID S. ANDERSON TO THE PUBLIC ARTS COMMITTEE AND THE APPOINTMENT OF JOHN VELSKO TO THE PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION TO FILL THE DISLER VACANCY.

Ann Keffer has indicated her desire for reappointment to the Library Advisory Board. Her new term will expire April 1, 2008.

Constance J. Alderfer and David S. Anderson have both indicated their desire for reappointment to the Public Arts Committee. Both new terms will expire April 28, 2007.

I am appointing John Velsko to fill the vacancy on the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission. Commissioner Disler resigned his Commission for personal reasons. Mr. Velsko has maintained an interest and concern regarding Port and Harbor Matters and current serves as the City Representative on the Prince William Sound Citizens Advisory Council. His term will expire February 1, 2007.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the Reappointment of Anne Keffer to the Library Advisory Board, the Reappointments of Constance J. .Alderfer and David S. Anderson to the Public Arts Committee and the Appointment of John Velsko to the Homer Port and Harbor Advisory Commission for the terms as specified above.
