SUBJ: NEW LIQUOR LICENSE - RESTAURANT/EATING PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND RESTAURANT DESIGNATION PERMIT FOR SOCKEYE THAI.

Notice was received on April 12, 2005, from the ABC Board, of the application for a new Liquor License as follow:

License Type: Restaurant/Eating Public Convenience

D.B.A.*: Sockeye Thai

Licensee/Applicant: Sarah Hagerty & Lyrik Pitzman

Physical Location: 4246 Homer Spit Road

This license includes a Restaurant Designation Permit which does the following:

Persons between the ages of 16 and 21 may dine unaccompanied. Persons under the age of 16 may dine accompanied by a person 21 years of age or older. Persons between the ages of 16 and 19 may be employed. Without Council's approval this permit will not be granted.

Memorandum from the Homer Chief of Police states non objection.

The Kenai Peninsula Borough has submitted no objection.

RECOMMENDATION:

Voice non objection and approval of the New Liquor License as listed above.
