SUBJ: REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION AS § 44.62.310(C)(1), MATTERS, THE IMMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE OF WHICH WOULD CLEARLY HAVE AN ADVERSE EFFECT UPON THE FINANCES OF THE GOVERNMENT UNIT AND ATTORNEY-CLIENT PRIVILEGE. (HURLEN SETTLEMENT OFFER - PIONEER DOCK PROJECT.)

The City Attorney and the City Manager may need to request an Executive Session to further discuss the Hurlen Settlement Offer regarding the Pioneer Dock Project, after Council's meeting on the settlement offer, January 3, 2006.

This is in anticipation of a possible need for an additional Executive Session.

The City Attorney may participate telephonically.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the above request for Executive Session and conduct immediately in the Conference Room.

Fiscal Note: Budgeted. City Attorney costs.
