Subject: East End Road Deferred Service Assessments

During the East End Road reconstruction project, water and sewer service stubouts were installed for lots not currently served in an effort to avoid future road cuts. These service installations are apart from lots that were part of a LID.

There were a total of 54 service stubouts installed, and the total cost for this work was $120,627.52. When the standard 15% markup of $18,094.13 is applied, the grand total for these services is $138,721.65. Dividing the total by the number of services leaves a deferred assessment amount of $2568.92 for each service.

Attached is a spreadsheet that lists the owner, legal description, KPB parcel number, and the road station location of the service provided. Copies of the KPB ownership records are on file in this office if you need them.

Please process the approval and recording of the deferred assessments to the affected properties.

Fiscal Note

This work was paid for out of the water/sewer reserve funds and will be 100% reimbursed through these deferred assessments.
