Subject: Hillside Acres Water & Sewer LID

Off-site Deferred Assessments

As part of the Hillside Acres Water & Sewer LID project, a water mainline was extended through, and/or along, several benefiting properties that were not part of the LID. This extension was necessary to provide adequate pressures and flows to the LID properties.

In accordance with the attached memos to the City Manager, dated 11/18/02, and 6/06/06, the benefiting properties of this off-site extension will pay for 50% of the costs, and the LID properties will pay for the remaining 50%.

Attached is a map and listing of the properties that benefited from these off-site water improvements. Each of the subdivided lots will have a deferred water assessment of $4,895. The large unsubdivided tract will have a deferred water assessment of $90,825.

Please process the approval and recording of the deferred assessments to the affected properties.

Fiscal Note

This work was paid for from HAWSP funds and will be reimbursed to the HAWSP fund through these deferred assessments.
