SUBJECT: Speed Bumps on Mattox Street

At the June 20 and July 18, 2006 Transportation Advisory Committee meeting traffic calming on Mattox Street was discussed. On June 20^th, Ginger Tornes, a property owner in the area was present for the discussion and presented a partial list of signatures of property owners in the area who are interested in traffic calming on Mattox Street.

At the July 18, 2006 the Committee recommended the property owners submit a design to Public Works subject to Public Works review and approval.

Recommendation: Approve property owner submittal of a design for Traffic Calming Methods on Mattox Street to Public Works for review and approval.

Fiscal Note: Cost associated with Public Works Review.
