SUBJ: APPOINTMENT OF RICHARD "BUMPO" BREMICKER TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION TO THE MCCALLUM VACANCY.

Commissioner McCallum resigned her seat on the Parks and Recreation Commission on July 12, 2006 via email. The vacancy was advertised several weeks in the local papers, on the radio and posted about town.

Richard "Bumpo" Bremicker and Gail Ann Weaver "Annie" have applied for the seat and both are City residents.

I am appointing Richard "Bumpo" Bremicker to fill the vacancy. His term will expire October 31, 2007, at which time he may request reappointment for a full three year term.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the Appointment of Richard "Bumpo" Bremicker as Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Commission for a term to expire October 31, 2007.
