SUBJ: REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO AS § 44.62.310(C)(1), MATTERS, THE IMMEDIATE KNOWLEDGE OF WHICH WOULD CLEARLY HAVE AN ADVERSE EFFECT UPON THE FINANCES OF THE GOVERNMENT UNIT AND ATTORNEY CLIENT PRIVILEGE. (BID AWARDS - KACHEMAK DRIVE PHASE I WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS AND HIGH MAST LIGHT INSTALLATION AND RAMP 7 REPLACEMENT)

Pursuant to Council's Operating Manual - "Any Councilmember, the Mayor or City Manager may place consideration of an executive session on the agenda...."

City Manager Wrede suggested that a provision be made for the Council to go into executive session regarding bid awards for Kachemak Drive Phase I water and sewer improvements and for the High Mast Light Installation and Ramp 7 Replacement.

City Attorney will be available telephonically.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the above request for Executive Session, authorize attendance by pertinent staff, and conduct if and when the Council sees the need.
