SUBJECT: VISIT TO JAPAN SISTER CITY OF TESHIO

Our Japan Sister City of Teshio has extended an invitation for Mayor Hornaday and Councilmembers to visit their city. They have erected a monument in honor of the City of Homer and very much looking forward to our visit.

Councilmembers are asked to pay half of the cost of the flight to Teshio. Most of the other expenses are paid by the City of Teshio or the City of Homer. It is requested at least two Councilmembers attend this special visit.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve travel to Teshio, Japan for Mayor and Councilmembers.
