SUBJECT: COMPREHENSIVE PLAN COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (CAC) APPOINTMENT OF ETHAN MARTIN AND PORT AND HARBOR ADVISORY COMMISSION REAPPOINTMENT OF JOHN VELSKO

Ethan Martin applied for appointment on the Comprehensive Plan CAC. The CAC will meet approximately 5 to 7 times over a 13 month period, which is the course of the project.

John Velsko applied for reappointment on the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission, his term expiring February 1, 2007.

John Velsko is a City resident and his new term will expire February 1, 2010, at which time he may request reappointment.

I wish to stress that all applicants for appointment and/or reappointment are qualified and very much appreciated.

RECOMMENDATION:

Confirm the Appointment of Ethan Martin to the Comprehensive Plan CAC.

Confirm the Reappointment of John Velsko to the Port and Harbor Advisory Commission for a three year term to expire February 1, 2010.
