Subject: Street Improvements – Official Road Maintenance Map

Foothills Subdivision Sunset View Estates Phase I

As part of a recent Subdivision Agreement, several new streets have been constructed, which include portions of sidewalk. These road improvements were completed in 2007 and this department has inspected and approved the construction.

The streets are as follows:

1. Soundview Avenue – 1200 lineal feet of road and sidewalk

2. Shelley Avenue – 483 lineal feet of road

3. Tajen Lane – 150 lineal feet of road and sidewalk

4. Cabana Court – 250 lineal feet of road

This is a total of 2083 lineal feet of road improvements (.40 miles), and 1350 lineal feet of sidewalk (.26 miles)

In accordance with Ordinance 85.13, Section 12.20.090, and Section 11.20.100, this Department requests that the City Council formally accept the street improvements for operation and maintenance. Upon the council’s approval, please add the additional .40 miles of roadway and .26 miles of sidewalk to the official road maintenance map for year-round maintenance.

Fiscal Note – Annual maintenance costs for these improvements is estimated to be $8332.
